believe it to see it

Thank you for moving with me & thank yourselves for showing up today!!!

You dedicated time to slow down and create some space in your mind, while connecting to your body. But, this practice isn't a one-time thing. It's a way of life!

Everything you learned today (the breathwork, the movement, the intention-setting) is yours to come back to whenever you need it. Use it before a game, during a hard week, whenever you need to come back to yourself.
if you had a good time, i would love if you could let me know what you liked.
if you didnt, please let me know how I can make the experience better for you.

Movement

Every pose we did today was built around three things that help you on the field: breathwork, mobility, and recovery.
Breathwork teaches your body to shift between go-mode and calm on demand. It lowers stress hormones, sharpens focus, and helps you recover faster. Think: composure, confidence,
Mobility keeps your body resilient. The movement we did builds range of motion in your hips, shoulders, and spine - for injury prevention, body control, strength & speed.
Recovery is the part most of us skip. Your body gets stronger during rest, not during the workout. The meditation we did today tell your body it's safe to repair. Athletes who build this into their routine consistently outperform those who just train harder.

Vision Boards & Manifestation

When you look at a visual representation of your goals regularly, your brain activates the same pathways it uses when you actually do those things.

Many elite athletes use visualization as part of their training. Your brain can't fully tell the difference between vividly imagining something and experiencing it.

There's also a part of your brain called the reticular activating system (RAS). It filters what you pay attention to. Once you get clear on what matters to you, your brain starts spotting opportunities that align with it. You don't magically attract things. You start noticing them.

Off the mat

When I say Yoga is a way of life, I don't mean you have to be a "mat rat" & go to class everyday!! Here are some practices that bring a little bit of space to your busy life:

Yoga Nidra: Body scan.

Lie down, close your eyes, move your attention slowly from your feet to the top of your head. Imagine a softening of each body part as you work your way up. That's it! Doing it before bed can help you sleep better and recover faster.
