SALTWATER (noun.)

An agent of purification.
A tide that draws you inward.
A ritual of reflection.
A Yoga community rooted in coastal Connecticut.
Saltwater was born out of a longing for depth in a world that moves fast. What started as my personal search for steadiness, healing, and meaning slowly became a vision for a community.

Our name, Saltwater, reflects our three pillars.
Salt as a purifying agent, the courage to release what no longer serves and return to clarity.
Water as reflection, the invitation to turn inward, listen, and reflect our pure selves into the world.
Saltwater itself as a tidal, rhythmic ritual that draws us back to ourselves again and again.

The Saltwater Method is a journaling exercise that was born out of these same pillars. Read more about it on our Blog, "Grain of Salt".
In a culture that feels increasingly disconnected and transactional, Saltwater exists to create a slower, more intentional space where we can gather in real life, build meaningful relationships, and experience Yoga - not just as a workout, but as a shared ritual that brings us back to ourselves and to each other.

Everything we do at Saltwater is rooted in our vision of alignment, not just in the physical sense, but in the way we live, choose, gather, and grow. We create space for humans who crave ritual, reflection, strength, and beauty in everyday life.

This is not about perfection or performance. It is about coming home to your body, taking a big exhale, and aligning the rhythm of your own tide... together.

I’ve always been drawn to discipline and structure - first, as a D1 athlete, and then through yoga. But over time, I realized I was searching for something deeper: steadiness, presence, and a practice that actually supports this crazy, human experience that we call life.

Saltwater grew from that search. It’s a place to move thoughtfully, to show up fully, and to be part of a community that values depth, care, and consistency.

This is the work I want to share, and the space I hope you’ll make your own.
